Shattered Gold & Marble.

Two things we love: particles and breaking stuff. We had a blast doing both of those things for these promo package elements done with Kill 2 Birds for FOX’s Monarch series. Who doesn’t love shiny golden dust flying around in slow-motion? The destruction system we built included several different particle systems with varying physical qualities, as well as fine edge fracture detailing with the ability to art-direct each fracture line. We also spent a significant amount of time developing the gold marbling of the material, making sure it shimmered just right.
