The Other Kind of White Powder.

Another wonderful collaboration with Kill 2 Birds, we were asked to create a variety of elements for Nat Geo’s season two of its “The Hot Zone” series. This time, instead of a virus the antagonist was a white spore called Anthrax. My favorite ask for this one was “it can’t seem too much like cocaine…”. Thus, our challenge was creating successful dissolve and decay systems for different objects and text that felt powdery yet sporous and ominous.
