A Landscape of Cocaine.

While at Digital Kitchen LA working on the main titles for Narcos S1, we were also tasked with creating a series of short promos. Both cocaine and money were to be used to create surreal, foreboding landscapes, transforming the micro into the macro. To do this, we had the opportunity to mix high-speed elements shot on the amazing Phantom Flex with pure CG elements. We spent a great deal of time using particle and fluid simulations as well as custom developed shaders to art direct key moments that would not be possible to shoot practically in the way we needed.
