Making Nostalgia.

What a huge honor to be Emmy nominated alongside the amazing team who created this title sequence while at Digital Kitchen LA. Narcos was a blast to work on, full of challenges that should hopefully go unnoticed by design - everything from blemish removal and basic compositing, to motion tracking, match-moving, stabilizing footage and animating overlay elements. A couple other challenges include cutting apart and projection mapping a photograph to make it look like home video, as well as using fire and smoke simulations to extend a plate of a burning car for the final shot.
